How to setup autorestart?

Error: External drive disconnected

The external drive was disconnected while Umbrel was running. This can sometimes happen when using an unofficial Raspberry Pi power supply.

I had this problem actually I don’t know why because power supply is original.

So I have few questions:

  1. Can I setup it to restart automatically in that cases?
  2. Why reset button or shutdown button are not working?
  3. Which logs should I check to know what actually happened?

I have also second instance and it completely stopped working:

This site can’t be reached

But ping is working:

  1. what could happened in this second instance? (it is not first time when it is behaving like that).

having the same iisue. Any thoughts?

Ping works because its available to the network. SSH doesnt work because the OS is not up and running

finally got that error to go away. I simply moved the USB cable to the top blue slot on my pi. I did order the direct cable as suggested by nickb808 (i.e. SSD keeps disconnecting)
