I get having a password as I am sure that most will want to use one for access but being a two person house with dedicated Guest networks etc I am happy that passwords are pointless for my use and add friction to adopting Umbrel for use by others especially when its forced to be 12 characters long and using a remote to again enter said password is a miserable experience (Thanks Samsung for poor keyboard support!) Can we look at adding in an option for disabling password authentication and just go direct to the home page.
No, that’s not possible with standard tools for security reasons.
