Someone here recommended it back in July and I’ve gotten a lot of good channels there.
You don’t want to open channels to each other. It’s pointless.

I asked myslef the same question
Once your channel is open, you can wait and see if you get any routing, but you’ll need multiple channels and you’ll need both inbound and outbound liquidity. Right now, @JesseJ probably has 500k sats on his side of the channel and @climbwave probably has zero sats - so the only way a payment could flow would be from @JesseJ’s node to @climbwave’s node
I suggest opening 1 or 2 channels with big nodes (find your favorite wallet’s node, or there are other fun ones you can find) and open up some triangles or rings with groups of nodes so the sats can flow around. If you have a triangle with 3 nodes, you can rebalance your channels so they have liquidity on both sides.
You might also find that 500,000 is a bit small, most people recommend at least 2,000,000 per channel.
