Risk management closing a node

Hey all,

I’m trying to mitigate risk in the case I’ll need – at some stage for any reason – to shut down the node and move back the sats to cold storage. What are the things I should consider? How does it need to plan in case?

The only thing you need is seed backup + channels.backup.
That’s all.
Do regular backups (each time you open/close a channel), by saving the small file and put it in a safe place with your seed.
Then you have 8 ways to recover your funds… with patience
