I recently submitted a PR to update an app (n8n). There were a lot of notes in the release, but they are likely to not be formatted to well due to the text being stuffed into a <p>.
My suggestion is simple - support markdown within the release notes section, and any other sections that could be useful. This could also be beneficial if you would like to link off to something with more details.
