My node is setup and channels open...What is next?

Hi

I built a raspberry Pi and configured it. I joined LN Swaps and have a few channels open for inbound and outbound.

So… what is next?
What should I monitor?
How many channels should I have?

Thanks

That is it. Nothing else you need to do but start using it. Try sending some Sats and receiving. Check out twitter @satoshi_LN_bot for free 100 Sats to your node.

I can just collect routing fees as well, correct? I will use it when needed.

Interesting… I looked and could not see how to make that happen. I saw several people had made donations but I did not see instructions for receiving 100 Sats.

Need to wait for some incoming liquidity and then hopefully will get some payments routed through. I’m in the same boat at the moment.

Something I did, that I think will help, I opened a few channels with well connected nodes and then sent some good payments to several different custodial lightning wallets that I have (wallet of satoshi, blue wallet). This put some inbound sats on the other side of my channels.

Hey lightningpleb
I have a few channels open
Just try to figure out how to structure it to collect fees. Also, my “getumbrel” channel appears to be down. I am thinking I will use LNbig to open more outbound channels. Attached is a view os what I have now.

You’re ahead of me
