Hi over the last couple of days my Umbrel node Build 0.4.8 constantly shows syncronising both the Bitcoin and Lightning wallet. it has been working well for over 8 months Bitcoin Core is fully syncronised and validateing new blocks. I cannot see my onchain balance or Lightning balance or channels can anyone provide any assistance. I have not experienced any power outage and as a first point of troubleshooting I resarted the node but it made no difference.
- Read troubleshooting manual
- Update to v 0.4.10 manually or reflash the mSD card with latest version
- review your lnd.conf file if is not containing some wrong line.
- wait patiently until electrs is rebuilding the index blocks
Thankyou I have successfully "manually"updated my Umbrel node to 0.4.10 using the troubleshooting guide. My lnd.conf file has not been changed for over a month and node has successfully rebooted since changing. Unfortunately my Wallets and Channels are still not displaying even though Bitcoin Core is fully synchronised and validating blocks. I have checked the electrs log and there are many warnings (see extract below).
Should I run the sudo systemctl stop umbrel-startup && sudo rm -rf ~/umbrel/electrs/!(electrs.toml) && sudo systemctl start umbrel-startup Command to rebuild/repair the electrs DB

Hi I waited for 100hrs and decided to upgrade to version 0.10.11 now my electra logs look cleaner although I still my onchain wallet and lightning wallet are still showing synchronising.

Question: did you edit your lnd.conf file with adding a watchtower?
Sometimes WT line/connection is hanging LND to start.
Try removing WT line in lnd.conf and restart your node
There is no WT references in the lnd.config
Login to your node with an SSH client / Power terminal via
ssh -t umbrel@umbrel.local
Make a backup of your current lnd.conf
cp ~/umbrel/lnd/lnd.conf ~/umbrel/lnd/lnd.bak
Delete your current lnd.conf, re-configure Umbrel and restart the node
rm ~/umbrel/lnd/lnd.conf && ~/umbrel/scripts/configure && sudo reboot
After restart, your LND will take a few minutes to catch up again.
Go into the Umbrel Dashboard > Settings > Debug again and validate the wallet is unlocked this time.
I see, all seems to be fine, but something is missing there.
Can you run
docker-compose logs lnd
and see if there are more aditional errors there?
Also
docker-compose logs bitcoin
can help to see if the wallet is locked or something strange.
I know is really frustrating this phase when is not showing the wallets.
I appreciate any help you can give @DarthCoin as my channel partners are asking about my node being offline. I needed to run the LND command with the --tail=300 option as the log was too long to send via 0bin and they were the same logs displayed over and over.

Did you tried to login to umbrel dashboard? Once you enter, is unlocking the lnd wallet.
Just open the dashboard.
Are you sure you have a “virgin” lnd.conf file?
I don’t know man, have a bit more patience, maybe is still building the lnd database, but I see the bitcoin sync all ok.
When I log into the dashboard I see the following screens. The Wallets [Bitcoin and Lightning] are constantly showing Synchronising and Bitcoin Core shows Synchronised
I reset the lnd.config file as per your instructions and did not modify it so it is a new copy
I can wait longer if you think that will help. How many days do you think is reasonable?
I can also confirm that the Node can also display the seed phrase and they are the same words that I wrote down when I setup the node.

@DarthCoin what is your opinion of running sed -i “s/[Application Options]/[Application Options]\nreset-wallet-transactions=true/g;” ~/umbrel/lnd/lnd.conf && sudo reboot to rescan the wallets UTXO’s will this cause more problems troubleshooting the issue?

You post only the middleware logs. Middleware is just a web interface, it doesn’t affect your node to run properly.
The problem is not there.
Look closer into your logs, in bitcoin logs, lnd logs, electrs logs
Is this of interest in the LND log
